Dylan Ryan Slack

ST. GEORGE - Dylan Ryan Slack, 5, passed away March 19, 2010 in Salt Lake City after a valiant fight with a life-long illness. Dylan was born in St. George, UT on April 7, 2004 to Ryan and Stephanie Slack and lived here his entire life. Dylan's life on this earth was brief and difficult, but his courageous example and impact on others was far reaching. Through his triumphs and trials he has taught others patience, compassion, and love, and has accomplished a long legacy of good.

Dylan will be sorely missed for his fantastic smile, sharp sense of humor, love of all things sports and Star Wars, a talent to learn and understand, an unrelenting will, and for the important part he played in making his family complete. He especially loved to be with family and play with his cousins, and his enthusiasm brought a special joy to holidays.

Dylan leaves behind an adoring and devoted family including his parents, Ryan and Stephanie, a sister, Riley, and grandparents, DeLoy and LaRae Slack, and Maurice and Nancy Cyr, as well as, a loving extended family.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Little Valley LDS Stake Center, 1762 South River Road, St. George, Utah. Visitations will be held Wednesday, March 24th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 W. St. George Blvd. and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Stake Center, prior to services.
